Magneto is definitely one of my favourite characters because of the complexity surrounding him. His first voice in the xmen animated series from the 90's was definitely the best voice for him, and was overall one of the best in any cartoon series. It's a shame that? they couldn't bring that voice back, he was a great voice actor.

Magneto has fucked Apocalypse twice in the comics (he killed? him once and made him his bitch on the other) "Your brain is an electromagnetic field"...I loved that line before he fried Apocapyse's brain. Magneto is my favorite super villain. He's what I? like to call a tragic villain. Someone who turns into a villain because of bad things that happened to them. Much like Darth Vader who is another favorite villain of mine. I sympathize with him. And I feel the same way towards our world leaders and all the rich, powerful and elite of the world as he does toward non mutant humans. If I had any super powers or any kind of power, I would probably be just like him.

The acting was best in First class, easily. The script suffered severely at times though. Emma Frost was poorly written, and yeah, some of the characters were just not well thought out. Also, "First Class"? Sebastian Shaw is well, let's face it, un-killable except with Xavier's mind control. You could even argue that he's much more powerful than Juggernaut, because not only is he invulnerable, he can store ANY energy and use it later as an attack. The comics was only kinetic energy.

Why so complicated? She could just manipulate the air around you to simply not be there. Or fill? your lungs with too much air so you burst. Or hell, just simply blast you with a bolt of lightning. Almost any mutant can kill a regular man any number of ways with their powers, which is why people fear them so much. All that power, unchecked and unbridled could potentially spell disaster for mankind. If it wasn't for decent mutants like the X-men stopping them.

It's true. In one issue of the comics, Cyclops single-handedly takes on both Wolverine and I think Nightcrawler, and wins, and he's antagonizing the two, as well, so Wolverine is really out for blood. Of course, in another? issue, Storm beats him one-on-one without her powers, so it's sort of hard to gauge. The only thing I don't like about Cyclops is that (for the most part) he's one of those by-the-book characters and gets annoying.

He was indeed XD. As a matter of fact they could have call this movie Magneto origin. The rest of the movie is... ok i guess. The action scene are cool but the story isn't really that faithfull to X-Men, the Hellfire club have no business with Magneto and should have been in X3 instead.
