I'm lucky my? neighborhood didnt get much damge unlike most of my friends. Some of their roofs caved in and many of their windows shattered. Luckily no one I know died or got injured although there were many close calls.

I have lived in McAllen and have family there. It is very concerning to me to see the damage.With regard to people being offended due to the accent of some of the person's that spoke in the video. I think that you are narrow minded if you are offended, that is how people speak around that area of the country due to the linguistic influence? in a bilingual, bi-cultural geographic area. You should broaden your horrizons and read a little of the history of South Texas.
