Actually every single time I take boomers thats all I want to do, I want to be alone in my bed, lights off best, and I go through the dying sequence, and I feel like am super wet or becoming a liquid, then I usually go into some intense trip dream. then I wake up about 2 hours? later, my mind is no longer tripping but I will have visual hallucinations for the next 2-4 hours depending on intake. Mescaline tends to be 8 hours long and LSD tends to be 12....although this can be altered with dosage. Mushrooms are at least as crazy as the rest , iv only taken mushrooms legally so the quality was assured....when a trip goes bad on shrooms it tends to stay bad till the end, but iv always been able to steer a dodgy LSD trip back on course. I think the main problem? with street LSD is not the "quality" per se... but that it could be a DOx chemical and not even LSD at all. A decent video though.

however, the ring can be removed and the bulb can be buried under the dirt and not visible, so it's best? just not to touch any solid white mushroom. My advice is to never assume you found an "albino" and just leave white mushrooms alone unless your positive of what they are :)

I had these mushrooms growing in clusters in my backyard this past summer and I thought they were cool looking they were? growing in an old dead tree but also were spread out on the ground. So I left them for their beauty. Then several weeks later I noticed a smell like a decaying body or something and seen the mushrooms were rotten and they were the one giving off the odor !!! Talking about freaky. Yuck !!

I picked my first field mushrooms yesterday and ate them? for breakfast today! Delicious! I also found some conical mushrooms with an incurved margin, black dot (almost a dent) on top and dark brown margins, rest of the cap was a lighter brown with faint striations. Growing near field mushrooms. No sign of any veil, pinkish light brown gills and 5cm tall at the most, cap 1.5cm across. I can't find any ID for them!

Leaf through an identification guide and see if you still feel like collecting wild mushrooms; an edible mushroom often? protects itself by resembling a deadly one. I love the idea of foraging, but I don't think it can be sufficiently stressed that most people are not qualified to pick mushrooms safely. This is the sort of thing that really ought to be learned via apprenticeship, if there is such a thing as a mushroom master.

might not "hurt" you, but it can? effect you. I personally have been effected several times just by handling mushrooms and I have seen a video on scientific research on mushrooms that stated that merely handling mushrooms will cause you to absorb small amounts of it's chemicals.

I agree that olive oil is not best cooked that long. Also, technically mushrooms are not vegetables or more accurately not plants. Fungi are a separate kingdom. Clavulina cristata sauteed hard with oil till? brown and finished with butter makes great bacon bits for salad, Sorry can't agree on the maitake. My treatment of shiitake would be better than this.

I hope people don't go out and eat a bunch of fly agaric and other nasty stuff after seeing this. haha But many? mushrooms are very good for you. I used to love going mushroom hunting in the rainforest after a good rain. You just have to be ABSOLUTELY sure what you're picking, counting the skirts and checking the gill colouration are just a small part of the identification process...not something to do unless you know exactly what you're looking for. Buying it from a shop is safer and easier
