I hope everybody can see that this is a christian movie. Guide: Aslan: Jesus The children: all people The white witch: the devil The stone tabel: calvary Aslan (Jesus) had to die and resurrect to save us all on the stone table (calvary) But at the end Aslan has to kill The White Witch and save everyone. All the books and movies i totally christian and next time you see or read them, try looking at them with a? christian perspective! (C.S. Lewis was a christian himself and has said this himself)

@sinisbal butt sex is filthy and causes diseases but i dont see anything? wrong with being homosexual if butt sex is not involved. some people are born with both male and female sex organs and some have alot of characteristics of the opposite sex and they have to deal with it somehow. some women dont have feminine sized breasts but they cant help it without spending money on artificial shit and some men have high voices, little facial hair, etc. but they cant help it.

@sinisbal i know why people make violent fairytales- it's becuz they want to start drama and thats what makes me mad. Humanity has the wrong motives. People want violence and/or sex in almost every? movie, game, and tv show and it's unhealthy and a bad influence because it confuses people. The problem is that they make the evil ones look cool and they jack up the villains to make them seem cool or sexy and that is, from an intellectual standpoint, hypocrisy.

@L5940 I can understand you being uncomfortable. In Narnia, Aslan symbolizes Jesus Christ. Narnia represents the real spiritual world that governs the visible world. When I was fighting for myself to be healed of sin of homosexuality, the movie helped me to understand that no matter how dark the darkness is, that it is ultimately the illusion? and for those who believe, it can be conquered by having faith in Jesus and His Love. He did it all and we who are in Him, we are kings and queens.

@Weiszcracker ehm.. it plays in england in ww2 and it`s a family 2 brothers 2 sisters so get it??? ok if you`re from america you probably wouldn`t? get it for obvious reasons. but in europe there are just less black people than in america i guess if you don`t like the style than i`d seriously advise you to watch american movies. this movie is not racist it just didn`t think that some people would insist on throwing black people in the movie when theres only 4 humans in narnia.

I think everyone should see this film!! When I saw this video, I knew? I must see it, incredible work out. The action was superb, and the storyline kept you thinking all the way to the end of the movie.. Every new scene brings spectacular new effect, I had so much fun watching this. TRully recommended! I decided to try out the BBC version, it's not that bad actually. It bothers me a bit that Edmund looks older than Peter and some minor stuff, but not that bad at all :P Though, if any one could respond, is it? true that the BBC version is completely accurate when? it comes to the book? It's what I heard, and I just got the books (I am going to read them soon...hopefully...) and was just wondering if it was true...

One more thing , I know they never had the special effects at the time they made this, but surely they could have just kept the wolf as the real wolf, and then just tame the animal to look uo at the witch then had an actor do a voice over, when Maugrim spoke, ..I have seen this in adverts..and they could have stuck fake wings on? real horses for the unicorns...instead of doing cartoon renditions of them. The only good things about this version is that it stays close to the book, and the lion

I must add, again, that the beavers in this were a joke..... the costumes were, ha ha, fuck... and the voices...so goofy. At least the films version had better voices at least for the beavers. And I cringed when the child fox, and the Christmas table? gets up and tries to stand up to the witch, and says "he has, he has , he has" My lord.... the acting a lot of the time, seemed like something out of a primary school play. And the cartoon animals!!!!!!!!1

I am sorry, just watched this film and the BBC ones effects is so playschool like, I mean, couldn't they have just tamed two real beavers to just walk around, and then when they are sitting at the table, have realistic looking puppets. The costumes are laughable The Lion was the only thing okay in the film. I sent my American friend a clip of the bit when Edmund enters the witches house, and she was in hysterics when? the wolf transformed into the actor in the costume as Maugrim. Oh dear

Odd how similar the opening of this actually is to the more recent movie version. That may have something to do with all the train stuff being shot on the Severn Valley Railway which the film also used but, that bit? where the train pulls out of the station to reveal the Pevensie family on the platform. Almost identical shot.

@HoangTrongNghia the 3rd book is prob the best of the series, all the others after are crap( and yes i have read them all), and the only good one before it was? LW&W (Magician Nephew is pretty slow not much happens, Horse and his Boy is bad(they dont even bother to make a movie for it), prince caspain is okay)

Ive seen both this and the Disney. They both have their own strengths. Dont make me pick. This is more like the Rankin-Baas Hobbit and Disney is more like the Peter Jackson LOTR. All of these are epic and magical in their? own way and each shows a part that the whole cant do without. Together, they add up to Amazing Epicness.

Oh wow - this just takes me back. Whilst the new movies are technically better than the old ones they always felt a bit too Disneyfied to me - they never quite captured the FEEL? of Narnia like the old ones did. I will never forget the music from the old movies and Aslan's deep, soothing voice. So haunting and beautiful and so very Narnian.

@Juliegoose03 In a way I find the acting in the old ones better than the new ones in the old ones it somehow feels more natural as if you're just an onlooker on a story that really happened whereas the new one feels like its people playing characters and that ruins the magic a bit. Similar with the effects the talking animals as people in costumes feel more magical than CGI ones.? Also the BBC Maugrim scared me so much as a child and still gives me the creeps now. ^^;

@Batman9858 I can understand how the guitars and melodys sound the same, but calling them a cheap copy.. thats out of line.. Yngwie's music is about dragons and swords and vikings.. Narnia is about Jesus and God and Christianity.. if they wanted? to copy Yngwie then they'd be talking about all the stuff that Yngwie does.. just because a guitar player is heavily influenced by another does not make the WHOLE band a copy of just one other player

I for 1? think this is a complete ripoff of Yngwie. Same song structure and everything, but atleast these guys can pull it off so I give them credit. Granted it's almost the exact same, they sound good atleast.

@Batman9858 Ah my friend, Yngwie copied many classical guitar players and stole licks from bach and mozart etc. played the strat with and influence? from Hendrix and Michael Schenker, Ulrich Roth, Ritchie Blackmoore...and Yngwie will tell you...but Yngwie was also unique in what he did and helped bring guitar composition to a higher level. Your witnessing who he influenced.Enjoy it do not mock it, Narnia brings glad tidings of the LORD who invented music in the first place and praise GOD 4 them

Ridiculous... Yngwie Malmsteen did not copy anyone. The contrary!!! Narnia is a cheap copy of Yngwie. Narnia should be sued for plagiarism. "Dreaming" (Tell Me) from Yngwie Malmsteen was made in 1987 -- from álbum Odissey (1988) and "Heavenly Love" Narnia was made in? 1998 -- from album "The Awakening" (1998). 10 years of difference.
