How old do you think Hamlet needs to be? I've always pictured Hamlet as a younger character. If you take the themes of inactivity and the oppression of? the 1st generation to the 2nd generation that are so prevalent in the story of Hamlet, it really works better for Hamlet to be a younger character. Speaking of inactivity, it's interesting that he's walking around in the 'ACTION' section of the video store...it seems like a cultural statement for the 21st century.

Aside from his line readings, his "acting" so to speak, what I find astonishing is his realization of the soliloquy? as a piece of film. He probably would have played it quite differently in a stage performance. Here the camera [that is, the viewer] climbs to the highest turret in the castle, sees the waves crashing below, thinks of jumping, and enters Hamlet's brain from behind. Also very strong use of the knife. A movie must show us, not merely tell us. Olivier accomplishes this quite daringly.

I got to that topic so "suddenly" because you wrote "P.S. her? song still sucks" in the comment you wrote that I was replying to, I thought you could have worked that out for yourself. Post Script is used when adding something after writing a letter (hence Post Script). After writing a letter you cannot go back and add the information in the letter, that's why Post Script is used. On a computer however, you can go? back and add the information, therefore Post Script is not needed.

Ha sido una contracción por diferencia de temperatura. Mi padre tiene una fundición de aluminio y desde los 16? años llevo viendo como hay que templar las lingoteras a unos 80-100 Cº antes de volcar el aluminio líquido (entre 450-600 Cº) en ellas para que no pase lo que les acaba de pasar a estos 2...
