you can use soap and water but!, you should have multiples of each brush in order to paint a wet on wet because it will take forever to paint otherwise. Get a good brush soap. Clean as much paint off as you can with paper towel and then use your hands? to remove the rest while using the brush soap. It will take longer because the thinner helps a lot. I would never paint wet on wet without an odorless thinner

I was asking myself the same thing,? so i gave it a go with acrylics, and it looked awesome! it's just that, you have to be quick with acrylics because it tends to dry much quicker than oils :)
