Hum. Don't agree. I don't know if comparing hendrix to manzanera is a good idea: they're so different in their playing and their music. I can't tell you? 'bout manzanera because there are so many things I haven't heard of him yet but talking bout hendrix, whom I am a great fan, I think that he's more "unpredictable" than "flash". If you just focus on him as a musician and not as "the voodoo child" (the showman) you'll admit at least that he puts every bit of him in his music...

I ran a retail record shop when this came out I even remember the day a few weeks earlier when the label rep gave me a promo copy. Played the damn thing the rest of the day & didn't have any to sell. I still have a copy in excellent condition but play the CD I made of it. This still hold up? 30+ years later. Of course no ones' music has held up better than Jim Hendrix. I'll even fight 'ya for that!! Other good pickers out there but still only one......Jimi.
