I agree, I believe Korn was put under the 'nu-metal' tag (I'm SO from the 90s) so I wouldn't class them hardcore. Despite my comment, I don't really think there's? a necessity to class every band under some genre/sub-genre, particularly since many bands change genres over their careers or even within a single album. Having said that, i do tend to like a lot of music people call 'hardcore' so...

What the hell are you on? This sounds nothing like Mayday Parade or BFMV, this band, Refused, are? experimental hardcore, not all hardcore punk sounds like Black Flag. Listen to NoMeansNo for another prime example of experimental hardcore.

a few years ago i started listening to Dance Gavin Dance. and it will always be one of my favourite bands, and Jonny Craig the best singer! But i actually thought that Post-Hardcore always sounded like that... Came across this song last year, and i can clearly hear where the year 2000+ Post-Hardcore bands gets their influence. and besides that, i really like Punk-Rock like Anti Flag and Offspring. but "Punk" in this way? ...
