Guys ffs stop arguing about the best armies!? The British Armed Forces trained most of the world's armed forces after WW1 and 2. The SAS and British Army personally trained both the Australian and NZ SAS, USs Delta Force, SEALS, Marines and Airborne, the Israeli SF, the Canadian SF. But nowadays it is very hard to tell who is better. The US has better tech but the UK isn't far behind. I would say that the British Forces have slightly better training and discipline. That's my view...

I realize that nobody's perfect & things go? wrong live, but he over-emphasizes the high partials of his sound by choosing very bright vowels & a high larynx without any space behind the vowels, resulting in stunning high notes & a mediocre low and middle voice without real legato. I think what jokermol means to say is? that the audio quality of this recording is not the best. This rendition is likely not a totally accurate representation of what a live viewing would have sounded like. It's unlikely that would change the intonation of select notes, but I think we have to give the soloist a little breathing room simply due to the medium through which his performance is received.

I can plainly see his ease with high notes. I can also plainly see that he is out of tune for the entire first? section of this clip until 2:40, with several high notes (such as :22 and 3:46) totally out of tune. Great high c's? Absolutely. But there are many notes in the scale, & I for one would love to hear him sing w/legato & good intonation. High c's aren't special, there are many instances of others singing them as well or better, but ALSO with evenness throughout the voice.

Not an expert by any means, but I could think of a few good reasons for it. For one, keeps you facing and firing at the enemy, so they can't just harass you without opposition. That would be particularly bad if they had cavalry to chase you with. Also keeps discipline, stops the retreat from turning into a panicked mob who trample each other and get even more men killed, if not breaking the cohesion of the whole army and turn a mere retreat into a? rout where everyone runs for the hills.

I'm not an audiophile? but I think there was something about the mixing technology of the day that gives this much more depth and richness of production when listened to on vinyl rather than CD/internet download. Agreed. His 'Pour mon ame' was sensational and worth turning up at the theatre just for that. However Dessay was absolutely superb too and in no way? overshadowed. Her comedic acting was exceptional. I have see Florez since 2002 at Covent Garden, and can attest that he always gets a great ovation from the cognoscienti. He can also act better that Pavarotti. He is a true bel canto singer in the mould of Pinza and Kraus. I think he would be? good in Werther too, but this can wait for later.

u are very eloquent and thorough. May god bless you for your selflessness. You and african export are my favorite! There hasn't been a lot on our type v thick hair untill? I found u and African export. I am an african born in africa a nd my hair is perhaps thicker than u two but ur products summarize the essentials to basically manage and beautify our beautiful natural hair. Keep it up!
