what ppl seems to misunderstand is that they think when blackberry says they're making less than they used to, it doesnt mean they? are not making profits at all, there are still 75 million blackberry users worldwide. the smartphone market used to be dominated by blackberry alone. now they have to share the same market with android ios and other different platforms. so yes they r making less than before, but in real time they r still making a lot. if u actually look at the figures.

For anyone wondering about the hardware design, this was just a concept alpha unit - this isn't the hardware that it will be released with. There? will be a revamped design once the unit is complete. The OS is also not necessarily BB10, again, they're unveiling an alpha build to show some of it's capabilities. Is the market big enough for WP7, Android, iOS, and BB? We shall see.

For every stupid person in the world saying 9360 is better than this one, the only difference is the lower resolution screen (and bad camera which you would't expect in a curve). And RIM rewarded it for the catch with 1450mAh (almost half of that 9360)? and no technical issues at all (unlike 9360, battery draining and hand burning overheating). So get your knowledge straight first before discouraging people buying this brilliant phone.

Unlikely. Cellphones these day are much more than just a functional device, they've become a status symbol. iPhone didnt dominate the handheld market because they're better, they dominated because Apple developed the device as a social symbol. Having an iPhone means being "ahead of the curve", being "tech and style savvy". Having an android means being a technological hipster, someone "in the know"? about the latest soft/hardware. Having a blackberry means youre in the past. Marketing 101.

Wow.. it's a demo, it's slow so that you can see how it works. It's also a unique keyboard that really captures the magic of a physical BlackBerry keyboard... it even has the frets and you don't have to take your eyes off of the keyboard to use the word suggestions. On top of that, it? learns where you press the keys and over time will adapt to your touches. Posting a 16 second clip and judging it is kind of moronic.

Apps is your debate seriously? Sure the app store has more apps but only half of them people actually use. Like saying ps3 has more games then xbox but its meaningless if people only play the most popular ones. iPhone is horrible its just too over hyped that all it is. It does have some good things but there so very little of them. I personally love? android and when I see someone with an iPhone i just laugh at how stupid they are.

You, sir, are just wrong. No other way to put it man, sorry. The App Store has the largest selection of apps, especially if you want to compare to BB. Because it's a "walled garden" yes, there are fewer hardware choices, but you can be sure that if it says it does something, it will, and well. (Samsung Galaxy GPS reception problems anyone?). Everything just works, simply & battery life destroys Android and BB only beats it there? because the phone is so useless you only use it to phone or email.
