This movie was okay, but it could've been much, much better if the people who made it had just followed the game to the letter. But they fucked it up with this "Red Queen" bullshit and then this "Alice" bitch. smh Please. This is the first movie in the franchise that they? listened to the fans, actually "retribution" was choosed by the fans. In 2010 they did ALOT of questions about how would we like a 5th movie. Paul asked all those questions before he writted the scrip for this movie. Hopefully this will be the "fast five" of this franchise (fast five was the highest grossing and highest rated film of that franchise) also this film brings back some character of the old movies like FF did

i just don't base my opinion on their reviews, i watch transformers or other action movies and im not gonna stop just cause critics hate them, i don't ignore critically acclaimed movies. The feeling RE movie gives at the ending is cold, sad and depressing, the score is amazing, the way alice looks is badass,? it was like those dark endings on the 80's movies but even better. Ignoring a movie just because critics like it is the same as ignoring a movie just because critics don't like it. And it was very clearly building for the sequel with the cliffhanger ending in the destroyed city along with hinting at Nemesis. Whether or not it got a sequel was dependent on how successful the film was. Ever seen Eragon? Terrible movie, and it has the same kind of ending.

For how average it was, I remember the ending, and it wasn't anything? special. All it was doing was building up to the sequel. It was a decent movie, good popcorn action. The amnesia thing kept the plot interesting, if a little cliche. I wouldn't consider it the best movie ever made by any means, though, especially when the "best" title is always subject to change. Most people would say Inception, Godfather, Citizen Kane, something along those lines.

No, I say it because I saw it and genuinely felt it was forgettable. And no offense, but a nine? year old's opinion of a movie isn't something most people value. At that age most of us don't care about plot or context, we just want to see explosions and fight scenes. My kind of movies? The original Star Wars trilogy, Braveheart, the Lord of the Rings series, old Spielberg stuff up until the second Jurassic Park, some of the new superhero movies, older Disney animations, the like.

i hated that the revive was the same button as picking guns? up. we were playing on the hardest setting and when you die a ton of times in one area and there are hundreds of guns on the ground it makes it impossible to hurry up and revive someone. and those mr.x guys kill you in one hit. they will knock you down and keep hitting you til you die that also was very frustrating. game sucks. wish i would have waited to read reviews. best part was fighting nemesis. hate that bastard :)

When Racoon City fell apart paramilitary and military operations were happening all the time so ammo would? be everywhere...but when time moved on and every soldier got massacred pretty much RE3 happened. I like games that use a scarce ammo system. I know your? part of umbrella who would have tons of guns and ammo but if your in a city it will be hard to keep a surplus of ammo while fighting a ton of zombies. Every one that complains about ammo in this game i want to tell me how many times they find ammo and guns on the street. its possible but very unlikely

Good game, people need to relax, its amazing and addictive. Level 80 already. It's a what if so why would they go so indept with? the characters. You can wikia them! lol This game is amazing and will hold me until RE6. Heroes mode is broken though, the bad guys have bad abilities and the good guys have the best ones. You have to be really cheap as the bad guys or you'll lose. This game is really fun!

IM 21 and even i know that this was amazing back then. I went from sega mega drive? (or genesis for you americans) And hopped straight into this at a very young age. It was like a cinematic experiance. And even playing this game today its still very fun and atmospheric. They dont seem to make games like this anymore. I believe the only reason? why Chris was 'stronger' in RE5 was because of his steroids that CAPCOM gave him. Overall, yes, Chris was on the STARS Team, but yet, he got his ass saved by Wesker, and Jill, and some other people a lot. I actually don't see why some people don't classify? RE4 as survival horror. Sure, RE5 isn't, but RE4 still felt like survival horror to me. And, out of all of the Resident Evil games, RE4 is actually my favorite. Some people just didn't like it because they changed up the gameplay, but it was still solid as Resident Evil in my opinion.
