It's average. There are no surprises and it is easily followed throughout. That being said, it? is still entertaining in its own right - not in a suspenseful manner but more of a curiosity as to how they will develop the scene you are about to see and how they will try to make it different then other films with this same plot. This is the first movie in the franchise that they listened to the fans, actually "retribution" was choosed by the fans. In 2010 they did ALOT of questions about how would we like a 5th movie. Paul asked all those questions before? he writted the scrip for this movie. Hopefully this will be the "fast five" of this franchise (fast five was the highest grossing and highest rated film of that franchise) also this film brings back some character of the old movies like FF did

i just don't base my opinion on their reviews, i watch transformers or other action movies and im not gonna stop just cause critics hate them, i don't ignore critically acclaimed movies. The? feeling RE movie gives at the ending is cold, sad and depressing, the score is amazing, the way alice looks is badass, it was like those dark endings on the 80's movies but even better. You probably have a different favorite movie and alot people would disagree with you so it's matter of perspective

Ignoring a movie just because critics like it is the same as ignoring a movie just because critics don't like it. And it was very clearly building for the sequel with the cliffhanger ending in the destroyed city along with hinting at Nemesis. Whether or not it got a sequel was dependent on how successful the film was. Ever seen Eragon? Terrible movie, and it has the same kind of ending.

i didn't say resident evil was the best movie, i say it is my favorite. inception is a good movie but is far from being the best movie ever. those movies you mention are movies a movie? critic would choose, they are good but i ignore them. For how average it was, I remember the ending, and it wasn't anything special. All it was doing was building up to the sequel. It was a decent movie, good popcorn action. The amnesia thing kept the plot interesting, if a little cliche. I wouldn't consider it the best movie? ever made by any means, though, especially when the "best" title is always subject to change. Most people would say Inception, Godfather, Citizen Kane, something along those lines.

No, I say it because I saw it and genuinely felt it was forgettable. And no offense, but a nine year old's opinion of a movie isn't something most people value. At that age most of us don't care about plot or context, we just want to see? explosions and fight scenes. My kind of movies? The original Star Wars trilogy, Braveheart, the Lord of the Rings series, old Spielberg stuff up until the second Jurassic Park, some of the new superhero movies, older Disney animations, the like.

I gave this game a 9.5/10 t was an amazing game. The graphics were breathtaking. The action and storyline were both well paced. The characters were chosen nicely. And best of all, WESKER IS STILL A FUCKING BADASS!!!!! It is my favorite RE to this date, and I'm hoping RE6 can accomplish what RE5 did. I hope capcom doesnt ruin RE by changing it. I loved Re1,2,? and 3. But 5 was my fav.? I like 4, but not AS much as this.

The reason he said that was because the blood on the ground was from the woman they had JUST shot and they were unaware that the people they were shooting were already dead. The first 5/6 resident evil's where good up untill code veronica. Once Resident Evil 4 came out everything went tits up! For the love of god, go back to survival horror.

the game was short but it's pretty fun and the online play is pretty good also. the things that annoyed me most was the shortness of it how Carlos looked (he looks like he has down-syndrome and he's lost the accent he had in 3) the team mate AI was pretty dodgy and the dlc is stuff they made out they were going to put into the game from the get go :/ upsides..Nicolai was in it? after long last I enjoyed the members of wolfpack they are pretty rad and gore is back!

Great game. OK, I needed Chris (he's my favorite) but at least, RE ORC had Claire, Jill, Leon and Carlos. I love them so much too. Anyway, I think they make too many RE games. OMG. That makes SO much sense now!! With the intro, the guy telling Ada or Carla. Whoever. "How are you feeling?" "just something I think you would benefit from knowing" Omg. He prolly revealed to Carla she is a clone. So if this woman isn't Ada, but her clone Carla...I wonder what Ada is up to???? They said she was playable? after the game is beaten...I HOPE she somehow teams up with Claire and they have their own co-op story line. I would jizz everywhere. lol.

I'm not holding my breath. I fear RE6 will just be more of this "evolution" of the series they keep talking about. I didn't much care for 5. I played through it but found it boring and it definitely lacked? the fear factor that was in the previous games. I have always wanted to play this RE "3.5"

Capcom must release this! I miss the locked camera views. It is such a big part? of the gameplay and the horror.. I read somewhere that capcom did? the alpha version of RE5 for PS2 and GC but planned to release it for the nextgen consoles. But the alpha worked so well on GC so they scrapped this and turned the RE5-alpha into RE4. As well as it would make it stand out more from Silent Hill. I could be wrong though. I just miss? the genuine horror of older RE-games.
