You're completely missing the point. Learning even just simple music theory allows you to be aware of what you're actually doing. What Marty is playing here isn't original. He's playing a Phrygian Dominant scale. You see, music theory isn't reserved for just classical players who can't read music. Look up Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Jason Becker, Vinnie Moore, Paul Gilbert, and many other virtuosos. They didn't compose? their masterpieces by just fumbling around with the guitar.

Actually what? I said makes perfect sense if you were a good guitar player. Learning music theory and not resorting entirely to trial and error will get you much better results and you will understand why good music sounds the way it does with a solid understanding of even a few basic concepts.

Sorry, I forgot to tell you. Basically,? a minor scale contains minor intervals (minor 3rd, minor 7th, etc.), whereas a major scale contains major intervals (major 3rd, major 7th, etc.). Once you're good with all this theory, i'll try to explain you why u need the scales :D lol

Hi, I'm trying to discover the velocity of Earth through space. I understand about the rotation of this Galaxy, and our speed within it ( approx 220m/s ), but what about the velocity of this Galaxy ? Some Galaxy's are doing about 30 000 m/s according to Sir Patrick Moore's book. From where do we get a datum to give us a fix ? *Edit, he mentions them at the end, but I think thatyou should be well aware of them as soon as you can handle it. Furthermore, I would call this the 3rd shape. Shape 1 is a bit lower down and shape 2 contains almost all the notes of 1 & 3 so my guitar tutor (rest his soul) cut that out of my curriculum. This is a great introduction, but beginners should know that this is only 1 of 5 'shapes' of note progression that make different pentatonic minor scales. You use the? different shapes to move up and down the fretboard without changing key. If you move up chromatically in this same note progression you will change key every time until you hit an octave. Just something to bear in mind if you are lucky enough to play along with a decent jazz/blues player (guitar, bass, sax, keyboard...whatever)

This is a HUGE 20 ft. wingspan RC aircraft called an Aerions Caudron Air Racer from the 40's. Has an electric start JPX320 reduction drive motor-turning a 42x12 prop-weighs 264 lbs. And to date, he has NOT taken his son up for a ride-at least not to my knowledge! Quite a 2 year project-on board camera.
