Won the most votes from an Albert Finney fan club, perhaps, but for normal? people it's a toss-up between the Sim and Scott versions.

This is such a great film. Whenever I read the book, I find myself doing impersonations of various actors who played Scrooge. Not only Alastair Sim, but George C. Scott, Michael Caine, Jim Carrey, and Patrick Stewart. Hell..I'll even? do a Mr. Magoo. Hahaha.

I think what many miss, is that capitalism is good, IF you also add "Charity" & "Compassion" to the mix and spread it out with no concern for "Payback" or "Returns" from giving of what you have extra.? The sad thing is that many who are very wealthy, do give, but they only give with an eye on deductions from their tax.

I think the "beagle" is the police, but I would have to look it up to be sure... Whatever it is, I do love the British slang? and I use close captions when I watch movies like this so I don't miss any of the language, which is easy to do if you've never heard the slang before...
