hi mate, it seems that these are very hit and miss for people......some have no problems at all and really enjoy them whereas others have constant issues! :( really, the biggest tip i can give is to make sure you fill them VERY slowly......if you add the liquid too fast then the pressure forces it straight out of the other end. cheers scott?

Hi igetech, I just? got a pack of smokeymizers delivered and went on to install them on my ego-T Battery to have a new steaming experience... I.ve followed your instruction thoroughly, but I must admit, I failed horribly. They leak like a water tab, I even don't have the chance, to screwthen back on the battery. After my distributor sent me a replacement set(which h is very nice), I now have the same mess !! Do you know any help/hint Thanks in advance steamtoheaven

Received my Ce3's last night. Taste great! no leakage whatsoever with the condom technique. And also DO NOT tighten your Ce3 to tight on the battery. I ruined one by? doing so and I accidentally pulled off my wick and atomizer from the tube when trying to unscrew it off.

hi mate, check out my review called "REVIEW OF THE C-E2 510 CLEAROMIZERS" as then you will be able to see the differences between the 2 a little clearer than? what i can explain, lol I've not heard of a dual coil clearomiser so i will assume you mean dual coil cartomiser? if so, then yes......i think they are far better due to less wicking problems :) cheers scott

I use these smokymizers on my provari, I've noticed that if you screw it on too tight it will actually cause the smokymizer to leak. I had to throw the first one away because I screwed it on too far and caused permanent damage. You basically have to screw it on until? you feel it touch the connection and stop there.

Some small points i would add to Scott's video here would be: if you? are used to the CE2 XL's and like them, you might be slightly disappointed with the cooler vaper these produce. The heating coil at the bottom rather then the top does mean by the time it reaches your mouth its much colder then a standard CE2. In my experience, these are OK, but not as good as the CE2 for vapor or flavor. I also absolutely hate that little plug! Putting it back in can be a real pain.

Cheers Scott - great review! The slight bit? of e-liquid you get at the mouthpiece end (about once per fill over the course of using one) is actually liquid condensing at the top from usage. When this happens, I just pull the mouthpiece out, and shake excess drop or 2 into the bin (easier than getting a tissue on it!). Btw, the £9.90 price quoted is if the customer selects a syringe as an extra to go with the 5-pack @ £8.95. Thanks again, Toby

I only get the leaking if I attach it and then bang or wiggle the top of the ce3. That loosens the bottom or brakes it. Doesn't leak during filling if you plug the condom on that? comes with the driptip.

My wife and I both use these and have had no problems. Never had one leak yet? Did you take yours apart? We don't do that, there's really no need. But then mixing from one flavor to the next doesn't bother us? You get one strange tasting hit sometimes, then it's normal. And the only time I had juice flow back into the top was the first time I filled one and screwed up overfilling it. That's the first thing they tell you? not to do. DOH!

I vape these .. they are awesome, you have to know how to fill them but I never get any juice in my mouth and they vape great!! The reason it leaks when you fill it is because your getting juice in the middle air flow part of it. Most of the problems your having is becuase of you lol ...? Thanks for the bad review though because I was able to get these on sale. You may want to learn to use them before you give them a bad review.

I've tried? them too and for me, big double F, Faulty and Fail! :/. Every time you wanna fill them up you have to have that "manicure kit" around and the waste of liquid... bah. Even worse, is the faulty connection that can make you burn the batteries... I've also responded with my video showing off that connection issue. You can see it when you have some kind of black deposit at the base...and the vape becomes bitter and you juice darker...

if you put the supplied "condom" on the bottom it doesn't leak when the plug's out on top. i put those "condoms" on before i go out so that i don't leak all over the place (yes, i know how wrong that? sounds!) when it's screwed in and the plugs in, it doesn't leak at all, in my experience. the problem is that when the plug's out and the bottom uncovered the liqiud seems to steadily drip out the bottom as you put it in the top. pooling at the top is terrible, i agree. good review.

You skipped a step, Phil. There is also a condom in the box. If you put it on before you pull the bung, it won't leak.? Take it off after you replace the bung. Yeah, it's another step, but it eliminates the leak when you fill it. Also, because it's designed to be dis/reassembled and, which I do for cleaning, you need to make sure the tube is seated will on the base. That will prevent leaking from the joint between the tube and base. Fiddly? yea. But a lot better performance than any CE2.

Hey, Pbusardo. I saw another Youtube review of these Smokymizers. One comment in that review did mention leaking after a refill and that can be avoided for the most part by quickly putting the small plug back into the refill tube? quickly after a refill. Also, Myvaporstore doesn't carry the 2.1-ohm version. They said on the site that only 2.4 - 2.8-ohm versions are available. I don't think they ever carried the lower resistance ones. Did they used to carry them? Great review as always. :)

I think the "Condensation" you are seeing isn't really condensation. On the Vortex 2 which is similar in build with the tube down the middle, it could sometime's get TOO much? juice to the wick, then you end up pulling it up when you draw....I think that may be the same concept. The wick may get a little overloaded with juice and you end up pulling it back. Reason I say is cause I just got a pack, after sitting 5 min first draw brought a little up.

@pbusardo Redacted Email Part 1: We have received numerous complaints regarding the leaking CE3s. If you have encountered? this problem, there is a solution.The silicone cap should be placed on the bottom of the cartomizer prior to filling it. Take the plug out of the top of the cartomizer, fill it with your eliquid, put the plug back into the top, THEN remove the cartomizer from the silicone cap.

I just got one of these, filled it and mine leaked too. I found the key is to get the little bung thing back in into the hole as fast as possible after filling. Keep it tilted? as horizontally as you can while filling and make sure the tiny bung goes well into the filling hole. This somehow creates a kind of air pocket inside. They are pretty good when they work but theres way better stuff out there.

I have the same issue as do many people who have used the smoky's. There is definitely a quality control issue with these, when they work they are great but some just leak from the packet, normally get 2 or? 3 that work out of a pack of 5, just getting 1 is real unlucky :( It was a whilst back now though when i bought them last, maybe they have sorted the problems now? Anyone else using them now?

as other have said - use the rubber cap that comes with the drip tip. put it over the battery thread end over the tank plastic. this creates a pressure seal which? keeps it from dripping while filling. once the little rubber plug is tightly in place, it creates a vacuum in the cartomizer tank and it will not leak. same principle as when refilling an inkjet printer cartridge.

Few other reviews report those frequent random leaking problems, which are believed to be from? a serious lack of quality control. I won't buy them. All I can say is this is the best so far . It does not bother me that you have to use tweezers the pack I got came with a nice round drip tip? . I have a home made battery using 2 lithiums from a laptop 4.3v each and a voltage regulator , I can vape for 3 days solid before recharging "I'm a heavy Vaper " So far absolutely no burnt taste no liquid in the mouth Just TONS and TONS of flavorful smoke . No offense taken, and you're not wrong, but I believe there are a few exceptions. From my experience, I? was a heavy smoker and once I started vaping I started with a 510, and it was not enough, then an eGo, and later on I used the eGo with a 510LR atomizer. Because of the way I used the 510LR: nonstop and long puffs, it left lesions on my lips just as the cigarettes did. I know it depends on several factors and it's not common, but I think it shouldn't be ruled out.

Here is your instructions to prevent leaking. Put the condom from your free drip tip on the battery end before pulling the plug. Pull the plug out then fill up your smokymizer. After the plug is back in place securely, remove the condom and screw on your battery and enjoy. These steps insure that the? vacuum is in place inside the cartomizer and this keeps it from leaking.

Nice review! Not 100% sure why the wick is near the battery's side but I know that one of the common cancer smokers have is lip cancer. This is caused by the warmth of the cigarettes constantly in contact with the lips. This atomizer keeps that issue even farther away (wether it was the manufacturer intention or not) and it's a good point in my opinion. Some atomizers get the tip really hot, try to avoid those. The first time I? filled it it didn't leak, but I noticed that my ce3 atomizers leaked from the bottom whenever I re-filled them. I later realized it does this when the small rubber plug is out, so if I fill it and put the plug fast it practically doesn't leak. Apart from that they work great and have a very good durability, I've been using the same one (the first I tried) for almost a month everyday all day and it still working great.

Good review there :) -- I agree the flavor is? muted I never found a sweet spot for flavor. But then again I am the same way with the dual coil cartomizers as well. Unfortunately I am a dripper it looks like. Although I have to give props to my MAP tank :) Also you might want to try the Sapphire Bud system similar to the Smokeymizers but much easier to fill and vapes well ( I do get a muted flavor on the menthol juices) Keep the reviews coming you two!

pretty much but you dont need to leave any air at all in fact very first fill of a new one you want it to leak? just a drop so you know the liquid is flowing to the atomizer and no dry hits. once you filled it put it on its side then take the needle out and replace the bung. now once you finished your ce3's do not go for the ce4's as I did there terrible but do try the Vision Ego 1.6ml you'll find them at safercigs and ukeliquid if you like clearo's your going to love these

That sounds brilliant (I'm here after desperately entering "leaky smokymizer" in YT search). Is this it? (1) Draw an inch of juice into a syringe with an 18g needle. (2) Remove bung (cocktail stick) from Smoky. (3) Turn upside-down. (4) Fill Smoky from what is now the bottom, leave tiny bit of air at the "top". (5) Remove needle... Then put the bung back in while Smoky still upside-down??? I'll? try it when current juice has run itself thru... shouldn't be long :-/

18 gauge needle fits the hole perfectly it can actualy take the weight of the ce3 then point it up before filling that way the air escapes through the bottom instead of the liquid I've not had a leak since doing it like this and for my money best vape yet even if it is a little fiddly oh yeah and doing it this way? you can fill it right to the top so les fillings overall
