I like tourettes guy and I have tourettes. It's harder to watch this and see the kids since my condition was undiagnosed into adulthood. I always had the physical stuff but not the vocal tics until adulthood? after some reflection. It's weird how its one of the most noticed, but the people are the most normal once you get past the tics if they have no other syndromes or disorders in comorbidity. Cool to see the camp for them.

My best friend has tourettes and we were in cooking one time, a bunch of? guys from the other side of the class, he was having a bit of a burst and kept making coughing/grunting noises and they kept telling him to "shut up" and "stop being so annoying" and I could see it getting worse because when he gets nervous or tense or angry it gets worse and he couldn't help it. eventually he just told them to f off and being the wankers they are one of them said "woah, get mad much" I snapped.

I'm 20 now and have dealt with Tourettes for years now. Over the years it's calmed down? a bit thanks to medication and having outlets like drawing. Most people don't even notice unless I'm very stressed out (I don't have coprolalia). I wish I had seen this when I began struggling with it. I remember sitting in class and finding myself sniffing uncontrollably. A guy in my class said "Omg you're disgusting, get a tissue!" and began to laugh. I knew I couldn't control it but didn't know why.
