He lives, obviously, in the UK. In the UK people buy phones, and the phones aren't assigned to specific carriers like the US. So, let's just say there was T-Mobile there, if he was with T-Mobile, he would have a sim card, but let's say he switched to a different company. He would just take out the sim card? and get the one assigned to the diff. carrier. It's so simple there. I wish it was like that in the US.

uh. i think its unlocked to run on any carrier actually.. well any gsm carrier.... so in the? US t-mobile and AT&T would do. but if you use it on t-mobile, i think (i said think lol) you cant use the 3G network. but i hear the 3G works fine with AT&T

@Cameestewee Hiya- If you go to settings then Language and Keyboard, then Touch input. The first option 'Keyboard types' change that to 'phone'- it will then give you the normal abc1, def2 keypad when typing messages which makes typing on the small screen? in portrait mode much easier and faster. You can still change to landscape and its qwerty again :)

my streak wont turn on if I hold camera and power. If I try to do it nothing happens then if i just hold the power button it wont turn on. I have to take out the battery to turn on. I take out the battery then plug it it. Press power get the no back cover pic, put in battery then back then it turns on but still wont boot. Also power + both volume buttons (holding) will bring up dell logo but will freeze on that. If? I try to just boot it it loads the dell logo but then freezes on it help!

The touch screen is from hell, the quality of the speaker means that I can hardly hear the people ring and I have connection problems all the time (may be due to being on 3 but I have had other 3 phones and it wasn't this bad). The only good ting about this phone, is that it still works after being thrown across a room? in anger and hitting the wall, bar a large, permanent black mark on the screen.

@EmFernie I currently own a G2 and i'm totally loving it! Tried the E7 at the nokia store a few months back. Gave up on it right after trying the slider mechanism which felt stiff and unnatural so I can't comment on the software. For normal usage I've never had any problems with the G2's hinge. I prefer Android over Symbian due to custom roms which improves speed and usability over stock ones. But my advice is to go test both phones out before you? decide. =D

So if I? were you, I would get the Xperia Mini Pro (the new one) because it runs gingerbread, has fixes, records HD video and has a bigger screen! :)

Have an HTC wildfire, SERIOUSLY considering switching from android to windows? phone 7. A bigger screen, good quality interface, and a qwerty keyboard(I prefer physical keyboards to touchscreen ones). The only downside I see is that I don't have an XBOX live account because I don't have an XBOX 360, so the Games/XBOX live icon will be pretty useless. Might get this phone, just need to see about the apps though. 8Gb is a pretty decent amount of memory.

The camera is 3.2mpx, but still fucklot worse than more expensive 3.2's ..video quality HORRIBLE. the screen is really good and bright and big..2.4"... 2gig memory card pre-inserted.. not that bad phone for 100?.

I'm in doubt whether to buy a Sony Ericsson Aspen (also runs this version of Windows Mobile) and this Acer NeoTouch P300. Might be helpful to say that I text a lot (more than I actually call people), I am on social networking a lot (especially msn, facebook? etc). Thanks to anyone who replies!
