In Portugal there is no Yoga for now, the only ultrabooks ava, are the asus, the toshiba and the samsung! I? guess the touch screen and the stand position in the Yoga is a plus. for me would be great as I make apps for Windows phone and Windows 8..:)

I've had a thought about that which came natural looking at it fold back, but I think they have already touch bases with that part. That laptop I'm sure will be flipped over and over by the average consumer? in its lifetime and I'd have to say that they will make good sense of this scenario of it wearing out over time by building it with a stronger hinge structure.

I love the Asus Ultra book and you couldn't get any slimmer than that which is a good thing, but the Yoga is a perfect fit to be called an Ultra Book and On top of that, it'll have a smooth fluid touch screen. I'd only use it for entertainment though. Also I know about the "Ivy Bridge" and I'm? very excited for them to incorp. them in the 10 upcoming Companies who will be supplied.

It's ALMOST 1080p. Unless you're sticking your eye directly onto the screen you aren't? going to be seeing the pixels. As far as that may pixels goes in a device like this, more pixels = less battery life. If you take a look at the iPad, they literally had to increase the battery size by 70% (thus causing it to overheat.)

Apple will build so long as there's a market. But I think the market may? shrink, but it will slow and not shrink entirely. Ultimately they're very overpriced, however, there are people out there who will pay the premium to be able to work 'in' OSX. For this reason they'll stay. The Mac Pro is profitable, unlike say, a high volume HP tower, the bottom line sits much higher. They're a big company, which is the only reason they can continue to produce such a pricey unit in small volumes. Peace :)

I think as long as you don't drag it around the table you have it set on, the leather should last you. As for the hinges, I've heard Lenovo is marketing this with the promise of 25000+ openning & closing cycles before they start getting loose; make of that what you will. I definitely agree it looks? like a great product though! Fully functional PC ultrabook with tablet functionality sounds great to me.

I can see quite a few ways of really fucking up that keyboard.. Grinding? that keyboard against your lap and whatnot will sooner or later both grind away the letters, and most likely snag on some clothing to just yank out a key here and there. Unless they've thought of that and actually designed a keyboard that isn't shit. Would be a first for pc laptops, and I'd salute them.
