I always thought the vaporizers were just fancy ways of getting high, but instead of smoke they porduce vapour, so it is much better for you, and your lungs.. Right? @tdaness we used butane lighters to light our cigs and joints before that matches. So laugh all you want but the iolite is the bomb product to me. I have tried a lot of vaporizers and spent a lot of money and the iolite is the best personal vaporizer by far. I fill it once and I don't taste the butane? or smell it. I only taste my good as weed. Mine cost $205 direct from iolite. I had issues and sent it back within two days I had a new one and it works great. I have had it 9 months now with no problems. I use it everyday sometimes three or four times a day. The money I have saved on weed paid for the iolite within two months.

I was having problems? with getting it lit but you cleared that up as well by saying to make sure it isn't cold from the butane. Mine works great now as long as I follow your tips. So to everyone out there... Get 5 times filtered butane shake it and the unit before use make sure the iolite is warm keep it clean I bought mine from my iolite dot com so it has a 2 year warranty

You have to do it right for thick vapor. You have to find out what version you have (v1,v2,v3) to know what temp to use. In the case of the v3, 180-190 is recommended. Set it to the desired temp. Set the bowl up and let the glass get hot before putting your material in? it. Then put the bag on. Also, I have found that you get way milkier bags with the lower fan settings.

@tore353 I like the Extreme Q, simply because it? does exactly what the Volcano does with the bags, but also has a whip for direct hits, a bowl for burning Potpourri, came with a grinder (depends on where you get it), etc, and it's cheaper by a couple hundred bucks than a Volcano. Pretty much the best I've used to far. Volcano is just as good for its purpose, but much more expensive for no apparent reason other than it being an imported product. Since you have a Volcano, no reason to change.

I used one yesterday, I enjoyed it. It wasn't mine and the owner said he rarely used it because he prefers the feeling of a bong rip, so he didn't know a good spot to set the temp dial. We set it at a horizontal angle with the line on the right and got decent hits, I loved the taste of the weed (la? confidential)compared to when you smoke it.

@Jarkillz Start low and work your way up till you get vapor. Then push it until you start to brown the herb. Probably takes a few sessions but then you'll get a feel for the right setting.? Digital readouts really aren't the best since you have no idea how accurately it is calibrated, where it's getting its read out from(such as reading from the glass that surrounds the heating element instead of the actual heating element), and how accurate the thermometer is.

If you bought it pre-loaded you need to take the little white plug out before use. Once you take that out hit it hard and all the oil will come out the top? and fall back in the cart.

@Gardenhomesfinest my guess is you didnt get your oil down far enough, hold it from the bottom and heat from the top down, as long as you can? hold it and your fingers dont get to hot you shouldnt hurt the seals and you should be able to get your oil down (any less than 1/2 a gram and it really needs to be all the way down to hit well from what i can tell,just over full gram you should know you have it down far enough cause it wont hold much more and will start to overflow if you try to add more)

At that point it is your hitting technique. Try pulling harder/softer until you find clouds. The concentrate you use defines the clouds as well. Using a good honey oil(not dark colored) or something like a PureGold capsule will provide the strongest clouds. When using a wax or something in more? solid form you may find yourself warming up the unit(pressing the button) a couple times before the hit, that gets things going good.

Supercritical c02 extraction is incredibly complex and requires expensive machinery and technicians who know how to work said machines. If done correctly it can yield 80%+ oil PROVEN using testing techniques like liquid chromatography. Guarantee you don't have that LOL.

Iv'e made my own c02 hash and glycerin mixture that works incredibly well with no ill effects. Saying vape hash oil and not glycerin is kind of misleading as the glycerin acts only as a binding agent for the thc.

To get ALL of the cannabinoids, your vaporizers have to get the herb/hash to 212C. 190C is not sufficient for medical users who want all of the cbd and cbn to come from their medicine. Yes? THC and the terpenes vaporize at a lower temp but for medical users these portable vapes are not ideal until they make the temp adjustable. I'm sure they get you plenty high, but I can assure? you there is still cbd and cbn still in that herb.
