Summer '94. What a summer for the alternative music breakthrough. Nothing? like it, like this. 18 years later people still come back to that particular Summer.

Our world is not lost? only it show that people can be be consumers or have appreciation, it just depends on which group you belong to. Love this man's music and words not how he looks and what my other friends think. I also belong to a generation that is only just starting to use technology to express my likes and dislikes and my children take it as given to express through technology. Thanks Jeff, for contributing to my pleasure, where every you may be.

Dear Jeff Buckley Everybody Here Wants You, The Grace I have for you is huge, the impact you? have made in my life is So Real. I'm sorry I could'nt give you any Last Goodbye because I? was too young to even know who you were. Your music gives me a sense of enternal life. Thank you Jeff for giving us a genius who sang from the bottom of his heart, and wasn't a beautiful musician for fame and money, and I mean this from the bottom of my heart. RIP Jeff.

if your God or anybody's God made us all, then? why did he/she create homosexuality? was it just so people like you could condemn them? doesn' sound very God-like to me, more like very human, as in, if you're not like me, then you're wrong! it's man's very natural fear of his own mortality, that causes this judgemental attitude, to try to ingratiate themselves to their Gods, in so doing, securing a place for them in "heaven", it seems to me that fear like beauty is in the eye of the beholder!!

This song (and album) really brings back some good times. The best memory was listening to this in 1997 while getting some work done (tattoos, not lighters or shirts!) at Ed Hardy's Tattoo City. Jeff Buckley had a? voice from the Gods, had a musical styling all his own and unmatched till this day. This album puts me in "Day Dream" mode. RIP.

This song and Mazzy Stars' " Fade into You" Two defining? songs of this era imo.

Her relationship with her partner is ( from what i can tell) great. theyre not hurting anyone at all. ALL relationships weather they be hetro or homosexual can be destructive. The sexuality has? NOTHING to do with it. It's such a shame that in this day and age that it's still such an issue for some people. What affect does it have on anyone else?

I don't doubt your intelligence. That was never in question. I grew up with an older sister that was ..well is gay. In that time I got to see her display a very special kind of courage when confronted by people telling her it's a sin. She wasn't sinning at all. She was attracted to women for the same reason you and i are. It's a very natural thing. In? my opinion if there is a god and he says homosexuality is a sin then he'd better stop making gay babies. Im not sure how its destructive ( cont)

Antifaith...I'm not angry @ you.? I hope you'll be open-minded enough to hear me out though. Yes, u can call it a backward belief. Would it make any difference if I told you I have a bachelor's degree, a years worth of master's work, & have always scored exceptionally high in standardized testing? I used to hold a similar philosophical position toward homosexuality as you. I've had struggles w/ my sexuality, so it's not like I'm ignorant. And I don't fear it. I think it's wrong, & destructive.
By: Antifaith29. on 24 May 12, 18:13:12
I don't hate god. i don't believe god exists. Little hard to hate something? you dont believe in. No, only thing i get angry at is a backward belief that a pre disposed sexual orientation corelates to a " sin" The only reason its a sin to you people is because it makes you uncomfortable. Sad, small minded and ignorant. The music is great weather god exists or not, i have no problem with people wanting to see their version of god in it. The homophobic outlook is a little sad though.

I'm very sorry for what u went thru... And you're right, we don't dare judge others, but we can judge right and wrong behavior. The cop who gives you a ticket for speeding isn't condemning you. He is making a judgement (albeit w/ the help of electronics)...saying that your driving wasn't right. Thank you for your reply, and God bless you :) Oh? btw, do you know of any Christian artists that sound like JB? ...Haven't found any (yet). Sufjan Stevens has a cool sound though

And you? fit nicely into the God-hating, angry-at-Jesus-lovers stereotype. I do believe the bible was written by a perfect & loving God, thru the hands of men. I mean, look at Jeff Buckley and his music for example...I don't know where Jeff was w/ his faith, but you can't tell me there isn't something deeply beautiful about his music, a beauty that surpasses mere biology. I see God's hand in that. And again, I think all sin is wrong, pride, homosexuality, heterosexual sin, wrath, greed, etc. GB.

Sorry everyone but since? I came here to listening to Jeff's beautiful voice I personally don't give a shit of whatever he was into. He was an amazing musician and person and seriously, his sexually orientation don't matters anything to me.
By: aniyah80. on 24 May 12, 15:53:56
Not really, Andrew. So many people cast stones at gays and lesbians, or even people "suspected" of being homosexual (like I had to endure growing up). I'm hetero, but went through hell. I can only imagine how hard it would have been if I'd grown up with "social networking" & the internet. And I'm Christian, btw & proud. I know what St. Paul said. But, I also read the Gospels and what Jesus said. I think He wouldn't want His name used to persecute others.? We are not God: how dare we judge.
By: Antifaith29. on 24 May 12, 11:37:07
You fit right into the typical Ignorant Christian apologist stereotype quite nicely. Homosexuality is no more a sin than hetrosexuality. Seems whoever taught you that was lying. Remember that book you put so much stock into was written by men with a very narrow view of the world. Infact to tell someone theyre sinning for a sexual orientation they have? very little say in constitutes a violation of equal rights laws in some states. You saying it is more of a " Sin" Wake up. Dont be so ignorant.
