I wouldn't overhaul your swing, but you can always peak and tweak. Even MLB players do it. ? Don't buy the "if it aint broke don't fix it" BS. yeah there are many different 'styles' of hitting, once the swing starts, they all look pretty much the same. Keep working, stay hungry and don't be satisfied with your .400 average. I'm went to High School with Manny, "nothing to be proud of, btw" where he hit .550 his senior year, I can tell you it didn't look anything like it does now.

My hitting coach uses the same thing to show us what we need to do. He videos us and compares us to pros.? It works great, especially with BBCOR.

Something that alot of people dont notice is, look at his back foot when he swings. He dosent keep it completely anchored and therefore letting his body weight transfer. Think of it like this, if you were going to punch someone would you keep? your body back and let your arms punch him/her or would you put your whole body in it? Case closed.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. everybody always tries to over think everything in baseball, but the truth is, baseball is not an exact science. Choose the style of hitting that works best for you. There is no "one way" to do things, and thats the beauty of baseball. I like to start just by getting comfortable? and swinging, then if I come across any problems I make little tweaks to help me out. It's simple ust do what works FOR YOU, and youll be successful.

you're 14, when you reach higher levels (college, minors) then you'll begin having problems to hit. Also, at this age, you're? using aluminium bats, take a wood bat and then you'll not hit the same way you do with aluminium bats. You're in a good age to begin learning this mechanics =)

I domt have mechanics like these, and yet im 14 and i can hit 400 on a hop. I just feel as if i were to change my swing and it doesnt work, ill never be able to go back. Should i work? on mechanics, even though im already really good?
