Just another example of? Mike Oldfield's genuis.... Let's face it he has never done anything to top Tubular Bells - Hergest Ridge or Ommadawn those will always be his top albums in my opinion... But he has come close after the rather weak album Incantations he bounced back rather nicely with this fine album Platinum.. Yes fans don't yell at me but I thought Incantations was weak... : )

i picked up "Impressions" by Mike Oldfield on vinyl a few months ago at FYE and i finally got around to listening to it last week. WOW! i've missed so much these past few months. but on the second record, it's mostly songs from Platinum (which i havent heard yet) and on the B side it's a couple of his? traditional songs. i love it. Mike is definitely one my favorites now.
