Those gerbils are expensive to feed too. What GM is talking about is the 110 charger that comes with the car. Yes, it takes 8-10 hours with that cord. If you have a 220 plug, you know, like a dryer plug, or you put one? in your garage as I have done, you can use the level 2 charger and charge in 3.5-4 hours. Seriously, this is for real stuff. I love my Volt. You can easily look up 220 charging.

Eric makes stuff up evidently. My Volt charges in 4 hours and I? get 40-44 electric only miles. Over 1,000 miles 2.1 gallons of gas go to voltstats . net to get real world miles people are getting. Data compiled by Onstar.

Actually they are opening the plant a? week earlier to meet demand. Volt had the best sales month ever in March with only 7% in fleet sales.

Have had my Volt for one month. Been trying to correct all the horrible misinformation? on threads conserning this awesome vehicle. Fox has said things that, in my opinion, are reprehensible and are legally actionable. Of the 20+ vehicles I have owned, I absolutely LOVE my Volt. Have driven over 1000 miles and used 2.1 gallons of gas. TWO point ONE! All I can say is educate your friends and neighbors, this is important technology and a fantastic car.

Answer? : The power source may be coming from coal powered plants but it? uses the? power far more efficently than a combustible? engine and therefore pollutes FAR less than? ICE motors.
