Saw these guys perform at Levon Helm's Barn on Halloween Night in 2009. It was phenomenal how they layered their many different sounds one by one with practically each song building to crescendo. ? I have learned to move forward with the times, be open? minded and aware of the evolution of music. I wonder if you are still stuck wanting to hear more of the same from Womack's past. I met him tonight after his PA in notting hill, london and me him, his girlfriend had a nice lengthy chat in subway. He is an absolutely awe-inspiring individual, so approachable, so friendly and oh so open (as was his girlfriend). I told him to brace himself because he's about to blow up. I will be buying acousmatic sorcery on cd and vinyl, he more than deserves our support. You don't often meet a person so... "good" and I? don't even mean musically (although he is that great too).

Yes samples are used in a lot of songs, but that was using multiple whole sections of the remix and I believe personally that, that is a bit more than just sampling. I'm a huuuuge FF fan, to the point where I think they are flawless and no one could better what they do, and not really been a fan of remixes in the past. BUT, this completely changed my mind. The percussion is amazing! And I love what he's done with Ed's vocals, slightly slowed down and pitched down(?) haven't a? clue what the technical terms are! But I like it a lot.
