Vaganova training behind you and Balanchine method to come - hard, hard work, absorbing as much from teachers as possible, and staying injury-free? could get you beyond the corps. Thanks!! I want to one day be one of these dancers that people just like you and I can go onto youtube and one day look up to me and I want to inspire people with dance but sadly I am 17 year old? male with only two and half years of training so I probably if I am lucky will only ever be a dancer in the corps de ballet.

that is true I am a classically trained Vaganova technique dancer who is going? off to learn the Balanchine method at CPYB and it seems like I can maintain focus more than others who are not trained in Ballet.

no because when you do any type of turn in ballet or pretty much many things you do this thing called spotting you choose a spot and? you try to keep your focus their as long as you can and then get it back as soon as you can

And thank you for saying the names of Makarova/Dowell! Their SL act2 adagio was one of the perfect moments in ballet history. I remember how deep she understanded her Odette? role in historical, cultural context of Romanticism. And she passed on the torch to Makhalina. It sad Makhalina was denied to teach her heir candidate, Yulia Stepanova!

Haha, that attibesque thingy in gjet. I enjoy it if dancers don't miss their beat or precise landing. And it's great to tell you that accurated arabesque line is slowly? coming back with Oleysia Novikova. She is so beautiful in her Rose Adagio. Coach Terekhova tries hard to bring back traditional Kirov style with her students. But sadly no one can nail glorious entrechat six like her and assemlbles battus in between or clear double rond de jambe en l'air are so many times lost.
