Correction! in diabetes type II the target cells become insesitive to glucose, diabetes type I is where there is an insufficient amount of B-cells in the pancreatic islets to cause? the liver and muscle celss to absob glucose from teh blood.

Recently? gastric bypass has been shown to halt diabetes, but the half measure a vagotomy can do the same, and be done without surgery. The vegus nerves are cut going to the stomach and produce half the result of a stomach bypass.

The back nerve can be cut by cyber knife safely, and cyber knife is being done safely to treat heart patients. Then the front vegus nerve is stopped by Botox injection. Although, Botox is not permanent, neither is a vagotomy and Botox can be done again. This will postpone stop diabetes without surgery and can? be used on heart patients at risk of losing a limb or eye sight.

I've had type 1 diabetes for 37 years. The synthetic insulin does cause problems and not rarely. It hits like a hammer and has no duration. I am importing pork (natural) insulin from? Canada and it works better for me. I originally was on pork (natural) and? went to synthetic. I couldn't stand being? on the synthetic insulin. Doctors and pharmaceutical companies love to blame the patient and not the product. Natural isn't perfect but does work better. Read "INSULIN:A VOICE FOR CHOICE"

Eli Lilly stated that? rDNA synthetic human insulin wouldn't work? for some diabetics and? rDNA human insulin is the only insulin available? in America. Why isn't natural pork & beef insulin protected by the "Orphan Drug Act"? Pork & Beef insulin should be available to American diabetics again.

Read " Insulin: A Voice for Choice". Even? Eli Lilly said that rDNA human insulin ( NOT HUMAN) wouldn't work for all diabetics. A lot of American diabetics are importing natural pork & beef? insulin from Europe & Canada for survival & quality of life. Choices shouldn't be? dictated by a profit. Why do those who profit from rDNA human insulin use suppression of information & censorship to push their self-profit agenda. Pork & Beef insulin should be available in America for those who need it.

I loved your comment. Drug companies are way ahead of Sweden, because they already have a patent on a preventative drug for the " can fly " condition for cows and/or humans. The side affects can be death and/or bankruptcy which pale in comparison to the " can fly " condition. Fear of death ( the great unknown ) is a successful sales? ploy that the profit-driven healthcare system uses & quite successfully. Thanks for the good laugh.
