Excellent review though your English is very fast. I also viewed part 2.. For people who prefer 'body', go for Canon 600D, for those who prefer 'image' rather than body, go for Nikon D5100. Movie or video is not big issue, you can use camcorder. It can be said that 600D is for beginner but D5100 is for enthusiast. Missing things in Nikon are exist in Canon? and vice versa, this may be an agreed policy between the two companies!

That is major,the Nikon D5100 Taking 30 Frames at 6 Frames/Second before theBuffer Fills. While the Cannon? T3i Rebel did only 15Frames at near6 Frames/Second before the Buffer Fills.I certainly,just on this Specification would lean in favour of the NikonD5100.But in Video mode,it appears those Canon People managed to give"Manual Video Controls"where as the Nikon D5100 maintains more AUTO modes in Video.Photographers will like the NikonD5100 but Videographers will like the Canon on Video-Manual..

@100REALM Although I have never used a D5100, I can say from my own experience the T3i/600D has fantastic image quality? (both still and video). The colors are vibrant and amazing and the if you know/like to you can manually control virtually every aspect of the camera. I would highly recommend it.

@cameralabs sorry I was a bit vague, I meant on the 7D. I seem to not be? getting a very clean shot. It is quite grey and also noisy with this lens but great with the nifty 50. I have done loads of research (maybe too much ?) and have my picture settings good, I think. I'm shooting at 24fps with a shutter speed of 50 which was recommended for that frame rate by various different people. Thanks for the quick response and help

@FructusSum I think you're placing too much weight on the colour of the plastic. Believe me, there are some EF-S lenses with cheap-looking bodies? which will perform as well as a red-ringed L lens in terms of optics. Just look at the results pages of my lens reviews at cameralabs . com and you'll see. As for the 15-85mm is WILL outperform the 18-55mm in tersm of optics.

6:58 "premiere lens not budget" its a silver ring lens! which is the cheapest lens that canon makes........ gold is mid range lens and red being top or premiere "L" lens. only red? ring are premiere lens. Silver is in the same group of lens as the Kits lens! what a good lens get the gold, 17 to 85 ef-s, The only reason this has a higher price is because it goes to 15mm with is harder to make but the glass is still the cheapest glass put in canon lens.

@lookatme4 Keep in mind that the 550d, 600d, 60d and 7d all use the same camera sensor and processor - so the quality and resolution of the photos you take is the same between those cameras. They can also all use the same lenses. The difference between them is just things like body build quality and weight, speed of how many photos you can take per second in continuous mode, amount of photos taken before battery? goes flat, and what video filming features are included, and stuff like that.

This guy is good with commercial photography. Notice in Part 2 how he turns the label of the bottle he's drinking from to directly face the camera. About "Nikon", the original Japanese way to say it is similar to the two words, "knee"+"cone", with the first syllable stressed, and the "o" sounding like a true "o" (instead of an "a" like? in American English). With an American accent, this would translate to "knee"+"con" (as in "con man").

@CausesSideEffects A lot has to do with the sensor type. Many of the jello problems are caused by the CMOS sensors in DSLRs, whereas your camera has a CCD. Of course many camcorders also use CMOS, but the ones in DSLRs aren't primarily designed for video.
