I loved the idea of a remote. There are countless smartphone apps that do the same thing for free (minus the controller). I used 'mkRemote Lite' which includes a full keyboard, touchpad, and connects via WLAN so? its completely wireless. If you already have a smartphone, this is a perfect free alternative.

Yea I knew what you meant. I don't know what your situation is? financially or where you reside, but there are places around that can test your board, but its pricey. If your board isn't to expensive I'd try to replace it, or if it is expensive, hit pricewatch grab the cheapest mobo cpu ram combo thats pcie and try your card out in that. You could dump it off on craigslist later once you figure out whats going on with your system.

Also, re-read the comment, and of course it isn't true that your system only uses the memory 1% of the time. The system will load all program data to memory and take the data? from the memory, to the processor, etc. Not sure why I didn't read that in the first place, hadn't had my coffee yet apparently. I was mostly trying to say that there wouldn't be a difference between the 1666MHz vs the 2400MHz. So yeah, that's my fault, but the point I stated still stands. Not sure how I'm 'dumb' for that.

I think I might pick one up. I thought at first this sounds sort of stupid, but after looking it up on the web it makes sense. The way it works is when you watch TV or use a computer screen in the dark your eyes after a while cant tell the difference to where the wall and the end of screen are and you will get a headache or eye strain. This also helps improve black because your eye is not? seeing the real dark deep black to the TV's greyish black, so it helps mask that its not really black.

Just a note: The? 3930K is NOT a PCIe 3.0 compliant chip. It is a Sandy Bridge-E unit that caries PCIe 2.0 spec. Kepler GPUs are PCIe 3.0 cards. Even so, PCIe 2.0 was never fully saturated, but you can expect a noticable, even marginal, performance increase when using an all PCIe 3.0 system. But for such phenomenal performance with a lower spec is amazing in itself.

3570k has Intel HD 4000 Integrated Graphic which is a huge step over the older HD3000 3570k? seems to be a lil faster... at stock speed 3,4GHz vs 3,3Ghz for 2500k Another thing is termal el.consumption. Ivy Bridge (3570) runs with 77 watts whereas the older Sandy Bridge gets 95 watts. I was enthusiastic about the lower wattage, I thought it would also run cooler. But seems Ivy Bridge is considered the hotter one despite its saves on electricity. Last difference: 3570k runs 64-bit exclusive.

Not necisarily having 4 fans wont do much for you double thick rad and 2 high rpm and high air flow fans will compete? and be if not better than an h100 plus the tubing is MUCH better on the antec :) and you can customize how you want it to run and at what temps...Trust me you wont be let down by it if you get it... i have my 6100 at 4.7 ghz and i have 1.47 volts in it... only 50c on the cores under full load... thats cold haha
