This is such a great film. Whenever I read the book, I find myself doing impersonations of various actors? who played Scrooge. Not only Alastair Sim, but George C. Scott, Michael Caine, Jim Carrey, and Patrick Stewart. Hell..I'll even do a Mr. Magoo. Hahaha.

I think what many miss, is? that capitalism is good, IF you also add "Charity" & "Compassion" to the mix and spread it out with no concern for "Payback" or "Returns" from giving of what you have extra. The sad thing is that many who are very wealthy, do give, but they only give with an eye on deductions from their tax.

I think the "beagle" is the police, but I would have to look it? up to be sure... Whatever it is, I do love the British slang and I use close captions when I watch movies like this so I don't miss any of the language, which is easy to do if you've never heard the slang before...
